MindCircuit Terms of Use

These Terms govern your download, access, and use of MindCircuit. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must also comply with the applicable terms of the app marketplace through which you obtained MindCircuit.

Eligibility

You may use MindCircuit only if you can legally agree to these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. The app is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.

No Account Required

The current version does not require or provide an account. Progress, preferences, virtual coins, and saved custom puzzles are stored locally. They may not transfer to another device and may be lost if you clear app data, uninstall the app, lose access to your device, or experience storage failure.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use MindCircuit on a device you own or control for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. The app is licensed, not sold.

Intellectual Property

The app and its software, gameplay systems, level designs, text, graphics, artwork, icons, audio, animations, trademarks, and other content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, sell, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, bypass restrictions, remove proprietary notices, or misuse our branding except where applicable law permits.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes; interfere with its operation; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware, scripts, cheats, or exploits; use Challenge Codes to infringe rights or distribute unlawful or harmful material; or help another person do so.

Custom Puzzles and Codes

You are responsible for the Challenge Codes and messages you choose to share and for respecting applicable law and third-party rights. Codes remain local unless you share them through the system share sheet. We do not host or moderate shared codes. You retain rights in your original content, but the app, puzzle system, code format, assets, and technology remain ours or our licensors' property.

Virtual Coins and Unlocks

Virtual coins and unlocks are fictional, non-transferable gameplay items with no cash value. They cannot be sold, traded, or redeemed outside MindCircuit, may be lost with local app data, and may be adjusted or discontinued through gameplay balancing or app updates, subject to applicable law. The current version does not sell coins, offer subscriptions, or provide real-money in-app purchases.

Gameplay and Availability

Hints, solution checks, scores, rewards, achievements, daily puzzles, and computer-controlled opponent behavior are provided for entertainment. We do not guarantee that every imported puzzle will remain compatible, every hint or score will meet expectations, or progress will always be preserved. Features and content may change when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve the app.

Third-Party Services

App marketplaces, operating systems, backup providers, and apps selected for sharing have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control or accept responsibility for their availability, content, security, or practices.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MindCircuit and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it before using the app.

Feedback

If you voluntarily send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without compensation or obligation. Personal information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindCircuit is provided as is and as available, without express, implied, or statutory warranties. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or universal device operation, correction of every defect, or complete accuracy of gameplay results and hints. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our licensors and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, use, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly for the app in the preceding 12 months or USD $100. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold us and our personnel, licensors, and providers harmless from claims and costs arising from your unlawful use, material violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Termination

You may stop using the app by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if you materially violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or if the app or a feature is discontinued. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app, our practices, or applicable law. Updated Terms will show a revised last-updated date. We will provide additional notice or request consent when legally required.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the agreement under relevant conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections and forums available under applicable law are not limited. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so both parties can make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally.

General Terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remainder will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning MindCircuit.
