MindCircuit Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MindCircuit. The current version works without an account and does not send your gameplay data to us. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

Data Stored on Your Device

MindCircuit locally stores game progress, completed levels, ratings, best move counts, achievements, daily results, AI Duel wins, virtual coins, current puzzle sessions, undo history, tutorial progress, preferences, unlocked cosmetic styles, and Puzzle Challenge Codes you create, import, or save. This information is not automatically uploaded to us or stored on our servers.

Information You Provide

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as your name, device details, screenshots, feedback, or support request. We use this information to respond, diagnose reported problems, protect the app and our rights, and meet legal obligations.

Challenge Code Sharing

When you choose to share a Challenge Code, MindCircuit opens your device's system share sheet with the code and a message. You decide whether to share it and which app or recipient receives it. The receiving service handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Information We Do Not Collect

MindCircuit does not require an account; collect contact, precise location, health, biometric, payment, or purchase information through the app; access contacts, photos, camera, or microphone; record audio; use advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs; or automatically transmit gameplay or diagnostic data to us.

Audio and Haptics

The app plays bundled sound files locally and may use your device's haptic feedback. These functions do not record audio or collect personal information.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information in support correspondence may be disclosed only to providers that help operate email or support, when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

Third-Party Services

App marketplaces, operating-system services, device or backup providers, and apps selected from the system share sheet may process information independently under their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.

Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you remove it using an available in-app control, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Device backups may retain app data depending on your settings. Support emails are kept only as reasonably necessary for support, records, disputes, agreements, and legal obligations.

Security

Local data security depends partly on your device and any backup service you enable. We use reasonable safeguards for information you email to us, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You may avoid sending support emails or sharing Challenge Codes and may remove local data through available controls, device storage settings, or uninstalling the app. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information we hold. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's Privacy

MindCircuit is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent us personal information may contact us to request deletion.

International Processing

If you email us, your message may be processed in countries where our email provider or service providers operate. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect personal information under applicable law.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, our practices, or applicable law. The revised policy will show a new last-updated date, and we will provide additional notice or request consent when legally required.
